What is One Table?

Who:  Causeway Huntsville is hosting the first annual One Table this year.

What:  A city-wide Thanksgiving potluck lunch - everyone is invited.

When: Monday, November 21, the Monday before Thanksgiving at 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Where: Causeway Huntsville will shut down the street in front of the Madison County Courthouse in downtown Huntsville and put one long table right in the middle of West Side Square.

What’s the point of One Table?  Why does Causeway do it?

One Table is Causeway Huntsville’s attempt to remove barriers and bring people together from across Huntsville to get to know each other and build understanding and friendship. What better way to do that than while having a meal and giving thanks for our great city together?

What do we want people to do for One Table?  This is the call to action.

Causeway Huntsville invites everyone to bring a dish for the potluck and join us for One Table on the 21 anytime between 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.

Community events like One Table only happen through the generosity of Causeway Huntsville’s supporters. We invite individuals and companies to make a financial contributions to the event.

One Table is Causeway Huntsville’s attempt to remove barriers and bring people together from across Huntsville to get to know each other and build understanding and friendship. We believe that to build a city that is an honest reflection of its residents, everyone should be invited to the table. So please, invite friends, family, strangers and acquaintances. There's no fee, no expectations and no agenda, just an open invitation to get to know your neighbors a little better and to give thanks for this city of ours, together.
